ID Appoints VP Product Management
Information Industry Veteran Jay Bartlett Joins Executive Team
BALTIMORE, MD (April 4, 2002) – Demand ID Systems, an entertainment
industry market intelligence company announced the appointment of Jay Bartlett
as Vice President, Product Management. In this capacity Mr. Bartlett will lead
research and development of electronic information products and services for the
live music industry, the ongoing enhancement of product and service
capabilities, and the creation and management of systems and procedures for
outward-facing operations.
Mr. Bartlett is a 31-year veteran of the information and publishing
industries. He comes to Demand ID from Fair Disclosure Financial Network, Inc.,
where he helped acquire and integrate two start-up companies to build the
premier source of real-time streaming and transcription of corporate events for
the financial services industry. Previously
he researched and developed new business opportunities for VeriSign, Inc. In
a variety of executive roles at Thomson Financial, he oversaw M&A
activities, general-managed intrapreneurial initiatives, and led a total
infrastructure and product overhaul for a business unit that more than doubled
in sales during his tenure. He has also held management positions in product
development, sales, operations, and strategic planning at companies including
Information Access Company, ips Publishing, Strategic Intelligence Systems, and
Wadsworth Publishing Company. "Demand ID represents a wonderful challenge

problems in a new setting. The music industry is clearly undergoing a period of
great pain, and Demand ID is just as clearly onto a way to cure their pain. I'm

marketing of tickets and artist merchandise to pre-identified audiences for
newly-scheduled shows.
