Information Technology Executive Larry Cynkin Joins Executive Team

BALTIMORE, MD (December 10, 2002) – Demand ID Systems, an entertainment industry market intelligence company, announced the appointment of Larry Cynkin as Vice President, Technology. In this capacity Mr. Cynkin will develop the technology vision for the company and oversee the development of the systems supporting the company’s market intelligence, audience acquisition, and contextual commerce businesses.

Mr. Cynkin has 18 years of experience in software architecture and management.  As Senior Manager at AOL, Mr. Cynkin directed development of search and navigation software for AOL, Netscape, CompuServe, and other AOL properties.  He was responsible for several online products, including AOL Keywords, that collectively receive tens of millions of hits daily.  Prior to AOL he was Director of Application Development at PLS, a start-up company which developed information-retrieval software used by the New York Times, Washington Post, AOL, IBM, HP, Dow Jones, and many others. Mr. Cynkin holds a B.S., magna cum laude, in Computer Science from Brown University. Demand ID is his fourth start-up company.
